Studied in Bremen, first state examination in law 1994, worked for the Styrian Provincial Government - European Department - Graz 1994 and the Construction and Finishing Trade Association, Brussels 1996, second state examination in Law 1999, master's degree in European and International Law, various teaching assignments at the University of Hagen, Bremen University of Applied Sciences and International University Bremen (IUB)
